He also released the EP Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, which featured You’re Mines Still. In October 2023, Yung Bleu was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother at her residence.

In 2021, Yung Bleu released several hit songs, including Thieves in Atlanta featuring Coi Leray, Baddest featuring Chris Brown and 2 Chainz, and Way More Close (Stuck in a Box) featuring Big Sean. These tracks were part of his debut album, Moon Boy, which dropped on July 23, 2021. The project included collaborations with artists such as Kehlani, Drake, Big Sean, Gunna, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, Moneybagg Yo, 2 Chainz, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and H.E.R.

On September 16, 2022, he released Love in the Way featuring Nicki Minaj. This track served as the lead single for his second studio album, Tantra, which came out on November 11, 2022.
