In 2007, he released “Sexy Lady” featuring Junior, which became popular on Los Angeles radio. After receiving interest from several record labels, he chose to sign with Epic Records. That year, he released a six-track EP titled Almost Famous: The Sexy Lady EP. He also appeared in the music video for Kat DeLuna’s song “Whine Up”. “Sexy Lady” reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. In November 2007, he released “Bitch Please,” featuring Lil Wayne and Brisco.
In December 2007, he worked with Ray J on the song “Sexy Can I“. He then released his first album Look What You Made Me. The album included hits like “Do That There” with Dude ‘n’ Nem and “The Business” with Casha. “The Business” peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. Personal Life

In October 2015, a court ordered Yung Berg (Christian Ward) to pay $100,000 in child support for his child with Brandy Flint. He missed an Illinois court hearing, which led to the ruling.
By December 2017, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services labeled him a delinquent parent. They revealed that he still owed $104,962 in back child support for one child.

Controversies and Legal Issues

On August 23, 2008, it was reported that Trick Trick and his crew attacked Yung Berg (Christian Ward) at a club. They allegedly took his Transformers chain. However, on August 26, 2008, Trick Trick denied being involved and claimed he had helped Ward during the altercation.
On December 16, 2011, Ward shared his side of the story. He didn’t want to go to Trick Trick’s club because someone in his group had issues with him. But he ended up there anyway. Ward was with a large group and went to the back of the club. Since he had a hit song, he asked for a free bottle. A co-owner told him that Trick Trick didn’t approve. 

Ward realized he was in the same club he had tried to avoid. Suddenly, security surrounded him and attacked him. His group also got involved in the fight.
On October 5, 2010, British rapper Rowdy T claimed he took Ward’s Batman chain and called him a snitch for reporting the incident to the police. But Ward denied the accusation and said the chain wasn’t important to him.
On March 20, 2011, Ward explained why he stopped wearing big, flashy chains. He said he used to believe that wearing flashy jewelry was part of being Yung Berg. But as he grew older, he changed his attitude. He didn’t want people to think he hadn’t learned his lesson. Now, he prefers smaller, more refined jewelry.
