Early Life

Will Sasso was born as William Sasso on May 24, 1975. He grew up in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada. His parents, Anna and Antonio Sasso, were Italian immigrants. He attended Delta Secondary School.

Professional Career

By the end of MADtv‘s second season (1996–1997), three original cast members—Bryan Callen, Orlando Jones, and Artie Lange—left the show. Fox then held auditions to replace them. In 1997, Will Sasso joined the cast for season three, alongside Alex Borstein and Aries Spears.

In 2000, Sasso famously faced off with World Championship Wrestling’s Bret Hart.

2002–Present

After leaving MADtv, Sasso starred as Carl Monari on Less than Perfect for four seasons. He also had a role in Robson Arms and played Fortunio Balducci in Southland Tales.

Sasso hosted the 2006 Canadian Comedy Awards in London, Ontario, and the festival’s Sketch & Improv Showcases. He also appeared at the 2005–2006 NHL Awards.

He made guest appearances on CSI and Childrens Hospital.

In 2010, Sasso starred in $#! My Dad Says*, a show based on a popular Twitter feed. The show was canceled in May 2011 after one season.
